UNGA side event convened by the Acute Care Action Network and WHO Member States, with support from the WHO Office at the UN and WHO headquarters technical teams. It positions integrated emergency, critical and operative care (ECO care) as a health-systems mechanism for three UN priorities — Universal Health Coverage, Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response, and Road Safety — and focuses on practical whole-of-government steps to implement the Global Strategy on Integrated Emergency, Critical and Operative Care 2026–2035 adopted by the World Health Assembly this year, plus its Global Action Plan now under development. Virtual attendance is open and unlimited; because the venue has limited capacity, in-person registration is an expression of interest only and confirmed in-person attendees receive a formal confirmation email.

UNGA81 is the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
